Curriculum

The British International School in Ukraine, Dnipropetrovsk campus provides a curriculum in line with the English National Curriculum Key Stage 3 from Years 7 – 9. During these years students will be expected to study English, Maths, Science, Geography, ICT, Art and Design and Russian, Children studying the Ukrainian Atestat will do so alongside the International program.

At the end of Year 9 pupils are assessed using the Cambridge Checkpoint exams in English, Maths and Science. These allow teachers and parents to assess a student’s readiness for Key Stage 4 and the IGCSE. examinations.

In years 10 and 11 ( Key Stage 4) students are prepared for the Cambridge IGCSE exams for the subjects they have been studying through the Secondary school.

At BISU International and Ukrainian Program teachers are dedicated to promoting wider learning opportunities and promoting a love of learning by incorporating into the learning experience:
